Funding modalities:
Funding of Austrian participants in etranet projects will be based on the rules of FFG’s General Programmes (Basisprogramme). Funding will mostly be offered to companies in the form of grants and – where applicable – loans up to app. 50% of the total approved project costs for the project.
FFG only supports innovative projects which contain an element of risk. A detailed project plan is required. The purpose of the funding by FFG is to support the RTD activities of the proposing organization. Economic and technical benefits for the proposer should be quantifiable and the project size needs to be reasonable given the size and abilities of the proposing organization.
Detailed national requirements:
Information on funding rules is available from the FFG website at www.ffg.at under “Basisprogramme”.
As a general rule, companies and companies in foundation are eligible for funding. Also research institutes, single researchers, and other organisations may be eligible. Projects will be evaluated with respect to technical and economic criteria. The degree of innovation and economic benefits are of particular importance. The full list of funding criteria and rules for funding is available also on the FFG web site. |
