Funding modalities:
Funding of Swedish participants in etranet projects will be based on VINNOVAs general rules for research and innovation programmes.
The Swedish part of an etranet project must also fulfil the criteria given for the National Programme Efficient Product Realisation to be eligible for funding.
VINNOVA funding is given within the following parameters:
- Companies / networks / consortia: grants can cover up to 50 percent of the eligible costs.
- Generally the funding from VINNOVA supports the research organisation.
- Universities / research organisations / research institutes: grants cover up to 100 percent of the eligible costs.
Eligible participants
Eligible are projects from research institutes and universities as well as industry and consortia of partners representing these categories, though the level of funding varies.
Detailed national requirements:
Industrial partners in VINNOVA projects are normally expected to cover at least half of the total costs for Swedish participation. Public funding can cover up to 50% of the Swedish costs and is normally given to one or several non profit research organisation.
At least one Swedish company and one non profit Swedish research organisation (institute, university) should be involved in a VINNOVA project.
In stage two, projects will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria given for the National Programme Efficient Product Realisation.
