Funding of project preparation:
Industrial R&D Funding Programme is a general programme in which any scale of industrial companies including ICT companies can apply for granting their R&D projects. Projects supported under this programme receive a certain percentage of their eligible costs as a grant. There is no maximum or minimum limit to the budget of the project; however the granting duration cannot exceed 3 years. Payments are made twice a year and after the company spends for 6 months for the eligible project. The percentage that is used to calculate the amount to be given as a grant to the company for the project is calculatedĀ by considering several factors such as the size of the firm, the ratio of yearly R&D expenditures to net income and the ratio of labour cost to the total expenditure of the project.
The minimum value of the support ratio is 32% for SMEs and 25% for large companies in terms of Turkish Lira. The maximum ratio is 60% for both SMEs and large companies.
The programme serves both SMEs and large companies.
